PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: that the Zoning Commission of the Town of Constantia will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 13th, 2026 at 6:00 PM in the Town Hall, 14 Frederick Street, Constantia, NY 13044 on the draft of a first-time Zoning Law and Zoning Map for the Town of Constantia.
The purpose of this law is to provide for orderly growth, secure safety from fire, flood and other dangers, provide adequate light and air, prevent the overcrowding of land, protect historical and recreational attributes, avoid undue concentration of population, facilitate the adequate provision of transportation, water, sewerage, schools, parks and other public requirements, and to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the public in accordance with the Town’s Comprehensive Plan. The draft law including a Zoning District map is available at the office of the Town Clerk, 14 Frederick Street, Constantia, NY during business hours.
